‘Exhausted’ mom’s colon cancer diagnosis is an important reminder

New guidelines have been suggested by the American Cancer Society.  The new recommendations say screening should begin at age 45 for people at average risk. Previously, the guideline-recommended screening begins at age 50 for people at average risk.

It is not yet clear whether all insurance companies will pay for these enhanced recommendations.
